why does the T in the PRAT model imply leverage?
and what is the reason for using beginning equity rather than avg equity (or vice versa) in the ROE calculation?
cfa seems to like beginning equity. it’s not the way i’ve ever learned it although it’s not major. that was one difficulty with CFA. they teach alot of things somewhat differently than i’d learned previously.
