LOS 34. g - discuss the Cadbury Report recommendations for best practice in maintaining an effective board of directors whose interests are alligned with those of shareholders. LOS 16. b - evaluate the benefits of a multi-locational investment solution when given a basic set of tax constraints, investment alternatives, and investor goals for after-tax return, chartibale giving, and cross-generational wealth transfer.

Yes - but 1) it’s specifically called out in the curriculum as an LOS and 2) There are different versions of the exam given. ALso, thanks for the page reference on the commodity item.

Bank IPS has never been tested before. This could be the first time.

I could think of the Sortino ratio & co. and stress testing alternatives as compliments to VAR…,

Bank IPS would be a good one as well.

^^^im with Sponge.

liquidity premium under ICAPM is difference in Sharpes, yes? sorry mwvt9—just was looking up Samuelson effect today.

meaning—adjust sharpe of illiquid bond to equate market Sharpe. difference in return is illiquidity premium

AM will probably test some straight up memorization question like “What are things you need to look for when hiring an Alt Inv mgr” (like in book 2- 1AM)

I’ll also add to my list los 25.c - evaluate the importance of technological progreess, employment growth and growth in capital stock in estimating the economic potential on an emerging economy. Key words - evaluate and estimate. There is an appendix to this reading which provides the familliar growth accouting equation, but has some unique twists to it. Additionally, los 25b asks us to explain the currency appreciation. There is a formula that isn’t terribly hard, but resides off the beaten path. Finally, human capital and references to the appendix at the end of reading 20 with all manner of equations.
