MPS was definitely lower this year than last year’s.

@sumz…how do you think L2 2011 was different/difficult from 2010. It was my first try and I failed with Band 10. I keep on hearing that L2 2010 was very tough and they asked a lot of nitty gritty Qs frm CFAI books. Although I failed L2, I seriously don’t think it was that difficult…its jst the time I didn’t devoted…any comparison will help me engineer a strategy for 2012. thanks
@ band10 - the syllabus was slightly harder in 2011 than 2010 I would say while the exam was incomparable. Last year’s exam was tough in a sense that it had long calculations, this year exam was apparently simpler but I would say that it was tricky. Thus, we can never predict the pattern of the paper any year. Feel free to ask any further question.
Just out of curiosity…what kind of calculations were there in 2010??
