Pursuing FRM after CFA - How many study hours should I estimate?

I have a finance background (MSc Finance) and work in asset management, I obtained the CFA in 2014 after passing all three levels on the first attempt. Now I am considering sitting for both levels of the FRM in November 2015 and I am wondering how many study hours I should estimate. I think the FRM website says 200 hours for each level, but that is probably based on the assumption that the candidate has no familiarity with the topics. What do you guys think a good conservative estimate is for me? 150 hours? 100 hours?

Thanks

PArt1 should be a cakewalk for you.I can’t speak for Part 2 though.

I would still put in 150-200 for PArt 1 so as not to take excess risk

Question: what is a FRM Level III Candidate?

I thought FRM was 2 levels

There isn’t one.

I am a CFA Level III Candidate and FRM Part II Candidate.

Analyst forum does not allow one to choose candidacy levels for multiple designations.

FRM is a piece of cake… just sayin.

PRM has 4 levels.

He must have confused it with PRM.

PRM has 4 levels.

Thank you Canada
