Putting CFA exam on the resume, >70% on all topics

just attach your results and let them speak for themselves

You’re asking the question wrong. You should be wondering how to incorporate your resume into your >70% exam matrix.

BUAAA HA AHA AAAAA if I saw over 70 on all areas I would laugh in your face

Ha. Thanks for the responses - that’s why I asked the question… As I am registering for L2 - is that going on the resume as “Level II” or “Level 2”? Given the keyword match analysis on resumes, I don’t want to get skipped out on due to formatting. Yoda - I would suggest putting “Who got an 87 on the 2008 Allen mock?” on the obverse, and “THIS GUY! (two thumb icons)” on the reverse. I think would be suitable to gravity of the situation. I didn’t overstudy though, 45 days, beginning mid-October.

you probably still have your high school GPA on your resume don’t you?

why dont you also put this into your resume: Successfully fertilized by my dad’s sperm and my mom’s egg with the chance of 1 in a million.

Damn dude, do you buy your haterade by the case? I’m just asking for people’s advice… obviously because I think the opinions of other candidates are meaningful.

.

@IamNeil - I appreciate you being a good sport, so I had this made for you, which you can use when you pass on: http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/5606/tombstonez.jpg

@Yoda Rofl that’s actually pretty funny. But seriously, don’t let the haters get you down. It is a little dickish if you put it on your resume but mostly I think people just don’t want you getting any kind of advantage tangible or not over other candidates who passed.

Ouch!! Poor guy… You guys went a little overboard no?

sorry IMNEIL, i just cant help it. lol no offense, congratz on your pass, lets all work hard and score >70% on all sections for lvl II.

IF you have registered for Level 2, then you can put CFA Level 2 Candidate. If not, then just pust Passed Level 1 of the CFA Program

What about putting it under Academic? I have my finance degree and my high school results, so should I just add CFA above them, and just say level 1?

Be careful about putting “Level II candidate” on your resume. I ran into this situation since I didn’t graduate college until after the exam. You can only declare candidacy if you are actually signed up for the exam. (Probably just another way for the CFA Institute to squeeze some more money out of you). It’s a violation if you put Level II candidate if you haven’t signed up yet. Don’t get your resume tossed for something stupid.

Look up the Ethic section, I think there is a rule about putting all section >70% or passing all 3 level on first try, something to that nature.

Jayusx… you can make a statement of fact (passed on 1st try, etc.) but you can’t imply that you are going to deliver better investment returns or any other BS… Yoda… I had never seen the tombstone thing before, that was hilarious… Thank you.

So, you literally just admitted you lied on your CFA exam registration. You’re not allowed to even take L2 without a college degree, unless you cheat on your application.

I know they weren’t accepting letters from my school to allow graduating students who were graduating in June to register after their dec results, they wanted it to be official
