I also indicate when I wrote each exam as a subtle way of referencing the 2/2 (hopefully soon to be 3/3!). What may actually come off as cheesy is the <50/50-70/>70 score breakdown for each test that I also include…
Uh, including the score breakdown is against ethics

Just put down something like: -Passed Level 1 on June 2009 -Passed Level 2 on June 2010 -June 2011 Level 3 Candidate People should get the idea and its less d’baggish

It does not matter how one gets there. IMHO

when i crushed L1 with >70% in every single topic you had better believe i attached it to my resume call me a dbag…but guess who changed jobs recently and got 2x old base
ok, same consensus as in general forum but you guys answers were funnier. thanks guys.
it matters. someone who finished all 3 exams in 3 years is, on average, going to be better at the job/more motivated/more intelligent then someone who took longer. you can bring up legitimate excuses that some people may have for taking longer, as iteracom did, but you can’t deny that on average this is true.

There are posters on here that are implicitly implying (perhaps even explicitly stating) that passing all 3 exams on the first shot is superior to taking 2 shots to pass. I’m not arguing either way. However, these one-shotters should take a second shot at standard VII B. Their statements may be in violation.
I think you should mention it, right after the section where you put “my mommy thinks I am the most loveable person in the whole world”.
When did it become d’baggish in our culture to talk candidly about one’s accomplishments? Why should exceptionalism be something to be ashamed of? If person A does it on the first attempt while person B takes 10 years, is person A suppose to feel guilty about that? Don’t get me wrong, a CFA is a CFA is a CFA. CFA Institute doesn’t regard one CFA charterholder as any better than another based on test ranking or number of attempts. However people are still allowed to draw their own conclusions based on what you tell them in an interview. If it helps you stand out in the interview, put it down. It’s not an ethics violation as long as its a statement of fact and you don’t imply a superior ability because of it. If your the guy that took 10 yrs to finish, its not like omitting that detail would probe any questioning regarding how long it took you. So regardless of how long it took you, there’s no reason for bitterness. Your a CFA!!

Your comments would be better received if you didn’t have these large blatant violations… Hey everyone!! let’s play a game! How many violations do you see?? – I spy 3 violations in paragraph 2, and 1 violation at the end of paragraph 3.

I was one of those folks, but would it be a violation since: - I haven’t passed all three exams - nor have I claimed any superior personal talent when representing myself - I just stated how I would interpret it if I was in a hiring position evaluating CFA charterholders Violation or no?
Phonetically my version sounds better compared to; “…A CFA Charterholder is a CFA Charterholder is a CFA Charterholder…Your a CFA Charterholder!!!” I’ll post results day, i had >70 on ethics for Levels 1 and 2.
You’re! (peeve)
