Hi all, One question: have anyone of you seen someone who worked at a PWM company as an Fixed Income Analyst/assistant PM moving to a big asset management firm or hedge funds? Is there an etiquette on people working in the investment side of PWM? I went through all the threads on PWM and so far only the sales aspect is covered. Thanks
I have a friend/mentor who made the jump. I am under the impression that it was took a serious amount of networking and developing relationships. I would not consider it common but it is possible.
what worries me is the perception people in the AM have of the PWM investment folks… From what I have read PWM clients are very risk averse, hence you are not able to take some phat positions
