I am sure many of you already know this but I just discovered that you can get decent quality (neither too easy nor ridiculously wordy and ambiguous) vignette style questions in Qbank for each study session. The session practice exams under browse curriculum contain 6 vignettes each for every session. i.e. 18 x 6 vignettes Just in case you didn’t know…
Thanks a bunch, I didn’t know that!
Hey, Thanks a lot, I didn’t know that either. I’m also glad to know that’s I’m not alone thinking that the wording on some questions is ambiguous, I mean, I know the answer but I can,t figure out what they exactly mean. anyway, thx !
Cfa sniper, I have either, view curriculum or browse Los. There are reading quizes, but can’t find vignette style questions. Could you confirm there is a browse curriculum section as you mentioned above…cheers
Nice find. It’s under: View Curriculum -> (Select a SS) -> Take Practice Exam
Thankyou.
Anyone else having problems with the schweser website???
yea its not working. lame…
Not working for me either!
Schweser back… and thanks for the tip CFASniper! Had no idea Schweser had vignettes there…
Good discovery, especially for intercorporate investments. I just did the regular Scheweser questions and they didn’t ask questions for so many of the areas!
good stuff. thanks for posting.
Indeed. Thanks very much for posting.
How did people find these vignettes? I found some of them pretty hard…the first vignette of the whole Corporate Finance I completely fcked up. The rest I got 4 out of 6 on the other 5. Some were guesses too I admit… Seem to have good days and real fcked up bad days!
If you create an exam and check only the advanced questions checkbox you should get vignette style questions only. Thats how I do it.
Thanks egal… that was very useful! I had no idea…
Are these vignettes close to real test or are we wasting our time. Some are real tough

Thats how I do it. Hey guys I verified with Schweser that the study session practice exams are available through the Create an Exam option stated above.
They are, well, advanced. I find that they are the most efficient preparation tool at this stage, because these questions require you to build up a reasoning chain. Building that chain makes me think about more than one topic. This also reminds me constantly to consider every little detail. However, I usually take 20min per 6 question item set and my average score is 66, 6 points deviation. So I do hope exam questions will be a little less hard
For the first 20 days, I did this. I used to score in 60’s. I am hoping real test is easier than that
