Qbank

Man, I don’t know what to think. My qbank scores are like 69-73 over like 16 qbanks, with the overwhelming majority being 70% or greater. Even my “fails” never dip below like 68 I mean, I know qbank is easier in some cases, but i’m doing good on the EOC’s and hitting 70+ in the qbank very very consistently, but never really breaking about 74. What do you guys think of this?

Focus less on your scores and find your weak areas in order to re-read those sections.

Its not the same format as the exam so not as helpful. Knowing a “definition” isnt likely to be on the exam, but knowing applications of the concepts should be.

Yeah, I agree with both of you - you can take it for granted I was using it to brush up on weak areas… Also you’re right about the “definition” statement, but the only thing that compels me is that my scores, after tons of study, review, and a large number of questions dont seem to be climbing, but everything sticks in such a tight band. I’m wondering whether to take it as “over a large number of questions and diverse material, I tend to maintain a 70 percent knowledge of the material” or “oh crap, this will never work, the test is going to eat me because qbank is so much easier and my damned scores aren’t climbing, but instead living in a tight band” I’m doing alright in the CFAI Q’s - as BPd stated, I am doing EOCs daily to cover the material I am weak on, as exposed by qbank and my lists of crap to review… This process is so tiring…

you probably posted a question on the Level I site… just now… ethics one

I see what you’re talking about - i posted in the wrong forum accidentally.

rolo… you are misreading that ethics question. you can allocate based on Account size to all SUITABLE accounts. (Suitable makes this right). you can allocate based on advance indication of interest and indicated order size. you cannot allocate pro-rata over ALL Accounts… (would violate suitability) since you have not determined if the trade is suitable for ALL accounts. ALL is the key.

Gotcha, Thanks CP…
