Quant

Just wondering how everyone is approaching quant. Right now I am just reading through Schweser and CFAI books and following through the examples making sure I understand all of the equations/process. I plan on making flash cards on all the equations/examples and memorize those. Then for like a half a week just do problem after problem for like 5 hours a day. Anyone else find a better way than just grinding it out like I am? By the way probability early this morning doesn’t get much better than this…

Stick to understanding concepts and not calculations. The test is going to be much more focused on things like “If you increase your sample size, will standard error increase or decreases” rather than asking complicated calcs!

Hypothesis testing is important… you need to identify the type of test (one, two tail / z, t, f, chi etc) and acceptance / rejection criteria…
