I bought a brooks brothers 1818 fitzgerald for $500 sale price from 1000. Slimmer cut, narrow lapels, higher armholes, 2 button, lower gorge, decent material, basically your typical Italian cut. Not bad for the price and good for taller men

Ditch, Personally, I wouldn’t buy a suit from JCPenney, nor would I buy separates. You can definitely find something fashionable and cost-effective at a place like Macy’s. I think they’re having a sale right now actually. I would recommend a two-button suit with a notch lapel and flat-front pants (no cuffs!). And make sure the jacket has a center vent or side vents. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, the salesman will.) And take it to a tailor whom you trust. Good luck!
