RANT: QBank sucks hard if you've done 1200+ questions

So I finally hit the 1200 question mark in QBank and I’m just setting up my regular, 60Q entire curriculum NO BASIC questions when I’m presented with a screen that legitimately has half the topics saying that there aren’t enough intermediate and hard questions available to create a practice exam to my specs. So now I’m stuck doing this practice exams with easy questions that I’m scoring well on while when I take a Schweser/Stalla/CFAI practice I’m still scoring high 60s, low 70s. Seriously, what waste of money for QBank. Sorry, needed to rant. Pop Quiz: Identify the movie this line is from… “Slow night at the brothel… awkward”.

CFAI text questions could entertain you for the remaining three weeks.

happened to me too. ended up deleting all the previous exams and starting from 0 again

jdane, Did you save your previous tests in the test management section? If you delete them they will release questions back into the pool.

there are so many bombs in q bank. check this out - the answer explanation calcs B but claims A is the right answer. You compute that an investment with a current value and basis equal to $20,000 will have an annual return after realized taxes equal to 10% for the next 12 years until it is sold. The effective capital gains rate will be 15%. What will be the accrual equivalent after-tax return? A) 8.5%. B) 9.02%. C) 12.5%. Your answer: B was incorrect. The correct answer was A) 8.5%. The balance in the account after payment of all taxes in 12 years uses the future value interest factor after all taxes: Future value = $20,000 × [((1.1)12) × (1 − 0.15) + 0.15] = $56,353 The accrual equivalent after-tax return is then ($56,353 / $20,000)1/12 − 1 = 9.02%.

ridgefield: I’ve found a couple questions like that. Errata’s from going from 4 to 3 answer choices I’d assume. I’m thinking erasing all past tests and doing some CFAI on the side will my course of action for the next three weeks…thanks for the tips.

I have completed 3600 q’s. I guess I’m starting to feel as you guys do. I am moving more toward doing Volume 2 during the weeknights with CFAI questions. Volume 1 and samples/mocks are for the weekends when my mind is fresh.
