I would like to know more about the mutual fund industry, particular on its operations. Can anyone recommend books that goes into the operation side of mutual fund? Such as launching a fund, the pitfalls, issues in running a fund, the structure of LP, GP (CFA lvl 2 glossed over this a little bit of this in its PE section). I understand you can’t understand the industry from a book but at least I have some overall idea. Thanks all.
