I can’t believe all the pu$$ies on this thread. If a friend and I were grabbing drinks and he asked me if I would hire Bob, I’d tell him nothing other than my honest opinion. Friend would know it’s an opion and could do whatever he wanted with it, but no way in hell am I giving Bob a lukewarm or positive reference.

Read her initial question, she mentioned no where that ’ a very dear’ friend of hers was asking for an opinion. All she said was ’ I know this person X, and I dislike him …am I allowed to let my personal feeling ruin the career of this X guy’ and then later she comes up with stories about how close to her is ’ the person asking for opinion’ , what do you expect??? and then you show up wearing VS pinkies claiming everyone else is what not. FASCISTS.
daviskr changed her story midway through the thread when it became evident that she was exhibiting poor judgment. I have extensive work experience and yet I never ever feel I am in a position to say anything bad about a worker. Maybe that means lack of so called leadership skills. I think it means I am well grounded.
