Just wondering something… I have already ordered the print material for the CFA exam and it was fairly expensive, considering I am a student.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is necessary to get Schweser type study notes for help, or can I just study from the material provided. I’m on a budget and would rather not pay more for notes.

Making your own notes would be better. I recommend Schweser for there Volume 1 and 2 Practice exams and their audio notes (for the drive to and from work). W
Elan is the cheapest. And it’s good enough to master the level I material. I would recommend not studying from the CFAI material only (unless you majored in finance) since it’s overly academic and contains a whole lot of chuff.
