Registration fee coverage

Hi all,

Quick question. I was wondering what is included in the registration fee for level 1 of FRM. Does GARP provide you with reading materials or do you need to purchase these? I saw that you could buy the level 1 books from GARP for 250 USD ( http://garpdigitallibrary.org/display/frm_course_pack.asp ) . I’m guessing you need to buy these books besides the registration fees? Thanks in advance!

Yep, you have the buy the books since they’re not included when you register.

Correct. Registration just covers the exam, enrollment and one year membership.

You can purchase any or all of these.

  • Core Readings Books (GARP)

  • Jorion Handbook (GARP or elsewhere)

  • Notes (Schweser or Bionic Turtle or others)
