At Level 1, it seemed like the practice problems on Regression in the CFAI text were way harder and in more depth than the regression that appeared on the test. Can anyone honestly say that L2 was a similar experience ? I only ask because I hate this crap.
Anybody who took the exam last year won’t be able to help you with this question, because the quant that showed up on the exam was a joke (but actually a little hard because it was stuff you didn’t really study too hard). It had a little bit of regression, but nothing that taxing. There was also none of the time series stuff, which everybody expected.
I hear that this year you automatically fail unless you know that stuff cold. Keep studying.
