Just curious if others run into the same issue: the CFA isn’t directly related to my job, however my company has a policy so I get reimbursed. I recently asked for reimbursement for a $450 seminar to improve my technical skills that are directly related to my job (using a vacation day at my expense). My mgr doesn’t want to let me do it, citing my being in the CFA program as a cost to the company(yet that doesn’t come out of his budget!). Little pissed off as I’ve been treated differently since I passed Level 2…
