GJ would have slashed it (http://www.ontheissues.org/2012/Gary_Johnson_Health_Care.htm). Bernie would have gone single payer. Like I said- either of these options would have been better than this current mess.
This is called Medicaid.

Wouldn’t matter what he wants to do, congress has to write it first.
“Trump’s First Legislative Effort Fails as G.O.P. Pulls Bill to Repeal Obamacare”
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/24/us/politics/health-care-affordable-care-act.html
What a loser.
Paul D. Ryan, the House speaker, rushed to the White House shortly after noon to tell Mr. Trump he did not have the votes for a repeal bill that had been promised for seven years — since the day President Barack Obama signed his landmark health care act into law.
So they’re not even going to bother to try again?
Seven years of daily whining and this is the result? I mean, it’s not funny, but it’s a little funny.
well apparently no one knew how complicated it was until just this year!
Couldn’t they just repeal it first and pass it later?

Listen man, the GOP legislature exhausted every conceivable option besides actually putting legislation forward for a vote. What more could you possibly want from them?

they wont get reelected to pass it later

They’ve tried nothing nothing, and they’re all out of ideas!
Not mine but saw this earlier. Republican Insurance Plan (RIP).
dude you dont tell people on the internet something you posted wasnt really your idea. Just post it and if someone praises it you take credit
^I have ethics.
"As one veteran House Republican told Talking Points Memo, the Republicans got cold feet because they were no longer playing “fantasy football” on Obamacare. This time they didn’t have a president in the Oval Office who would veto any repeal bill they managed to send to him.
“This time we knew if it got to the president’s desk it would be signed,” Rep. Joe Barton (R., Texas) said."
Don’t worry comrade Trump, that burn is covered by the ACA
I’ve paid zero attention to this whole deal. Just figured it was all about pushing something they want to fail, disgracing Ryan, increasing populist rage, passing the real deal next.
So, another Trump/Bannon strategic win.
They ran something they knew could never pass, and didn’t even give it a vote to be sure. Now that is off the table forever, good. Now alt-right wages full war on Ryan. Trump watches Obamacare burn, and tweets about it while eating his steak and catchup, for years. Eventually public rage and political pressure grows to where it is time to put thru their real plan. Deconstruction of the administrative state.
“Trump has said more than once that politically speaking, the easiest choice for Republicans would be to sit back and let the system operate on its own. Doing so, Trump predicted, would lead to a total collapse.” -HuffPo
