Research sources

I would like to know if there are good website out there that are good for research. I wanted to follow up with energy industry on my own and i do not know if there are good websites besides the obvious ones such as yahoo finance, bloomberg etc. Thank you in advance.

DOE, NREL, Oil and gas journal, EIA - for the US. There are several other sources for Europe and other countries. Just keep a bit patience and search for them.

Sign up for free trials to the following publications from Platts: US Marketscan, Gas Daily, Energy Trader, Coal Outlook, Megawatt Daily, Emissions Daily. Same goes for the reports from NGI and Enerfax Daily. No idea, if PIRA has anything for free, but they have very good montly reports on all areas of World Energy, that sum up what is going on.
