guess everyone complained about lack of productivity in august
I never thought I’d see the day they’d give a date and time. Wow. Much better this way. I don’t even want to know how much time I wasted refreshing the site for days before results were posted.
wow i can’t believe it. what are the odds that the dates change? 50%?
Good, now i know which day to take off
I just got an email stating as much. It’s still absolutely retarded that they release level 2 and 3 the same freaking day. Stupid, stupid, stupid. One step at a time I guess.
I agree with you, all that web traffic could slow down the site. But surely you guys are all forgetting the fun of looking for signs, like being able to register for level III before the results are out, or things turning yellow. My exam thing has turned yellow on CFA website this year, but it is a bit early to claim significance.
got an email as well, was shocked!
They did this for lv1 in Dec, shouldn’t have been a surprise.
Gee, Aug 19th, my heart was beating fast just to see the msg. I do not want to put any appointment or client meeting on this day. the site will definitely slow down and would not be able to access for some hours…

In Dec, everyone in here was either just starting, or getting ready to start Level 3. Why would we have any idea what’s going on in Level 1. Unless you know something about going directly from L1 to L3.
BTW…just realized that’s 9AM EST. That’s 6AM my time. That’s awesome for me as at that time I’m the only one in our building, as I will have just arrived. So come 7AM when everyone arrives, I’ll either be pissed drunk running naked around the building…or…the building just won’t exist anymore.
nice

To TheBigBean–what do you mean by “things turning yellow”?

Good times, good times… Seriously, though, I still do not understand why they disclose the results for LII and LIII on the same day. Given LII is MCQ, one week or two before LIII is reasonable and reduces stress level of candidates.

Given LII is MCQ, one week or two before > LIII is reasonable and reduces stress level of > candidates. agreed. i can’t tell you how frustrating it is to know that the results are out and hte cfa website is so slow you can check em. it was bad when everyone didn’t even know the actual date, imagine how bad it will be at 9am?
I know, will not be able to sleep, 6AM my time
