partially true. pass rate was high, but maybe AM scores were really bad. you can still maintain the high pass rate by adjusting the MPS lower.
or maybe there was indeed more of a shift from AM to PM scores
They definitely do a curve. My colleague, who passed the exam said that he did bad in the AM with 5 items <50%.
