Rewards and incentives

Hey,

did you guys reward yourself after the exam? I need some ideas!

What did you use as an incentive to keep going during those long study hours?

I’m goin to Hawaii on June 29 for 8 days - I need it bad.

omega watch!

seamaster?

How about a Richard Mille RM 27-01, only $525,000.

The reward was that i would feel much worse had i been not studying for the exam.

“Negative” type of motivation, i guess. Probably works better for such lazy bastards as me.

Cannot motivate me with trips, watches and things. The lazy prefer it on the sofa without all this nonsence hahaha

007~!!! i gots that! =_)

Hawaii? I wish I could do the same but I have no time to take any fancy trips since I used too many days off to study :frowning:

Thought about a watch too but the one I wear now is not even 2 years old.

Actually, I am considering buying a car although I don’t need one in Zurich. Hm. What to do, what to do…

movie with my girl is best

Rasec I’m confused, you didn’t opt for tan Aston Martin instead?

After being lame for so many months I really just want to do something adventurous. Like travel or something ridiculously spontaneous. I need some more excitment in my life than just waiting for some damn test results.

I just have too much postponed in personal life/work to take a break. Planning on nice vacation in Dec though.

I bought myself a Canon Rebel T3i and a family trip to a place called Wayanad in south India… Went on a good trek for 4 hours with family

I will have to figure out what to do when (and a big IF) I clear Level 3. I think feeling would be more of relief and will spend loads of time with my parents, wife and kid something which Ive not done for ages…

i will wait unitl i clear L3 then i can seriously reward myself. (funny thing, my bf said he would propose after L3, what a darling, doesnt want to be married to CFA books. Talk about avoiding the bad times and waiting for the good times .-)) Guess we can leave the better for worse section of the vows!

Will he propose no matter if you pass or not? I think he should only propose if you succeed, you know, just to have that little bit of extra motivation

having sex every other day for 2 weeks to compensate the abstinence for 2 weeks prior to the exam.

5 days of non-stop drinking, excl. sleep

nothing more to offer for myself atm

I actually need a week vacation but due to exams I have taken week now seems difficult to get one for my own vacation so really jealous of ppl on these threads sad… Never the less weekends I can travel a shortwhile and be back on Monday morning to be bk in ofc

njy guys and we really need to treat us for all the sacrifice past few months

Hell yeah!!!

From movie “red heat”:

  • We, americans, go to a shrink to sort our stress, watch fish in aqurium and practive breathe therapy. How do you, russians, relax?

  • Vodka

I did two things after my previous exam…

  1. Went to the gun range and shoot some guns

  2. Went for a few massages/ spas.

Planning a vacation also takes your mind off things!
