An alum was bartending at radio bar tonight in west village - hung out for a bit. Someone paid for a bunch of Chris cornell songs on jukebox / was pretty classic.
Very sad – Chris was seemingly “alone in the superunknown”. I listened to Soundgarden and Audioslave as a teenager and regularly listen to the Lithium station on Sirius XM radio. Yesterday was Chris Cornell tribute day on Lithium. RIP Chris – your music lives on.
I saw him in concert with Soundgarden in Del Mar, CA back in the '90s. Great show – I always liked his music.
Definitely sad to hear of his passing.

I was big into the other 3 big grunge bands but never quite clicked with Soundgarden although I loved the 1st Audioslave album.
