"Datta Phuge shot into the global limelight in 2013 when he bought a shirt made with more than 3kg of gold and worth $250,000 (£186,943).
A money lender based in western Pune, Mr Phuge was called “the gold man”.

“Some people ask me why I’m wearing so much gold but it was my dream. People have different aspirations. Some elite people want to own an Audi or Mercedes, and have big cars. I chose gold,” he told the BBC in 2013
i wonder if he wore all that gold to compensate for his lack of (abs) size
Physical gold is meant for creating stacks, building play forts in your basement, and tricking kids into thinking there’s chocolate in the coin if they bite it hard enough. Not for clothing.
So what they’re trying to say is that… a golden shirt costs only 250k?
250K to wear gold 0K for bodyguards = imminent death
So, does that mean someone else is going to wear this hideous shirt next?
It looks like gold paint over cotton fabric, with some studded nuggets. Gold thread fabric would be the *real* thing.
I think the article at the time said it’s real gold thread.
I was thinking about this. If you burn down 250k of gold fiber, you’d get a nugget right?
He should have just stuck to eating snakes.
Lil Wayne should buy it. F wit me now.
