Royal Bank of Scotland

Any thoughts on this one with the Eurozone coming out of recession?

they’re scaling back operations quite substantially, even with the recovery of the British economy and the Eurozone. wouldn’t touch it now. although i did hold it during the recovery.

I had a Level II student a few years ago who worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland; apparently they have a branch in Los Angeles. He was Korean. To hear a Scottish burr from an obviously Korean face was a bit of a shock initially. (Those of you who have seen the Harry Potter films know whereof I speak.) He was an excellent candidate.

^ strangely, one of my former colleagues is ethnically Chinese, born in Sweden, and grew up in Scotland. His accent is smorgasbord of everything

Dont do RBS, far too volatile and too many skeletons in the closet. the banking sectors is awash with scams and fiddles, I really don’t see RBS coming out well on this. Barclays, Lloyds on the other hand,…?

I see value in Lloyds particularly.

The world would be a better place if everyone had a Scottish accent…

^ Cheers mate.

Aye, laddie.

Even women?

Not sure I want my wife to sound like Sean Connery.

Aye: even lassies.
