i started my prep last month from 15 april . i have done entire syllabus only once . not done any mock. Going to do directly actual exam instead of mock.
Does anybody know if monkeymath sat? The test was rather straight forward.
CFAbeatmeup, I had a horrible family emergency…Two of them actually.- two immediate family members hospitalized at the same time, one gravely ill. …But I took most of your advice and went and took the test. I sincerely doubt I passed because I was so exhausted from flying across the country the night before to get back in time to take the test and stressed from tthe two family hospitalizations but I did it and I am glad I sat for it so I appreciate all of you encouraging me to do so. This was my first time. I’m sure I’ll belong to the retakers but that is fine. Both guys sitting next to me were on their third tries so if I learned anything at all Saturday, it is that there is no shame in failure. You just have to keep trying until you succeed. Monkeymath, I’m glad you were able to be there for your family. And, still keep your commitment to yourself. You rock. And, you’re right: failure isn’t everything.
Personally, I think the experience of how the questions were asked was worth it. Good luck regardless and control that stress level!
