Sample Exam vs QBank

I only finished reading the material this week, so didn’t have a lot of time to do practice exams. I’ve been reading secret sauce and then doing QBank questions on each section afterwards (only Med and Hard questions). I’ve been scoring fairly well on them (70% range, but I feel as though they are fairly general. Has everyone else found the QBank questions easier than Mock exams? I’m trying to decide if I should do the sample mock tomorrow, or just an a$$ load of QBank questions. I like the QBank as it gives an answer right after doing it so I can see what I did wrong instead of trying to remember after the exam. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I would buy both mocks (USD 100). The QBank is good but you need to learn how CFAI asks questions. I think the mocks are drastically different than QBank.

My advice would be to ditch the Qbank. Even if you learn a lot from them, the questions aren’t like the real cfai questions. If you want immediate feedback, do the sample exams. Then do the mocks. If you have more time, do more questions but only CFAI questions. 36 hours before the exam is no time to be doing q bank questions, in my opinion.

How would you suggest I do two mocks in one day? Is that not a little bit nuts for the day before the exam?

Yea–only do one mock. I would do the free sample, then a mock.

another vote for doing mocks…NEED TO DO SOMETHING FROM CFA

well, I’m not sure that I would try and do two mocks between now and the exam. Maybe if you did one right now and then the other tomorrow morning, but still, I think that might be pushing it. You just don’t want to be worn out and sick of CFA timed questions on Saturday, but obviously it depends on the person. You should absolutely do at least one though just to get the feel for how the questions are asked, etc.

+1 ditch qbank for now. it gives you a false confidence, and their idea of a dificult question is one that takes 5mins to read/do.
