First sample exam: 61% Anyone else find these overly difficult? A bit of a setback as the tests contain some item sets that have been on previous exams…

66.67% for me in the first version Same time last year I had scored 80% in the Level 1 sample…

CF mock first time I took it I scored 60ish using notes :frowning: Schweser mock scored 68.5 and then 78 on the second one, no notes. I find it very effective to go back over the exam with a blue/red pen and correct the problem I got incorrect and actually re-do the problem after having used the answer key. Then, throughout the week, I review my exams until I’m comfortable enough where if I were to take that same exam over again I would get 100%.

Just finished the first schweser mock. 55%. Sat level I last December and was in the same boat and passed. For me, the question format (vignettes) is what is killing me now. I think after a few more mocks and review we should be back up to the 70s +. Just thought I’d post that for all of us who are looking at guys / gals who are “disappointed” with 80% :slight_smile: let’s keep at it folks!

What is the point of taking a mock with notes? I plan on taking mine today but I def. hope I can crack something in the 70’s.

Just took the 2nd version. Found it much easier! 77%

doesnt sample 2 includes questions from last yr exams? Portfolio and econ section seemed to b from last yr real exam

First attempt for both samples I scored: Sample 1 = 50% Sample 2 = 58% Going to buy them again and hopefully score higher.

ok after getting crushed by sample 1, 66% in sample 2 sounds decent. But yes still gotta work to reach 75+

does anyone have CFAI past exams - from 2010, 2009, 2008…? Where can we get CFAI sample exam? Is it free of cost?

sample 1 - 72% sample 2 - 80% Too many stupid mistakes on the first sample, esp. Equity. I think I’ve to practice a lot more.

So did everybody find these pretty bloody hard? I’ve passed all of the Elan mocks and the CFA Mock (low 70’s so only just) but the two that you paid for are really hard. I got 61% and then 65%. Totally rocked my confidence coming into the last week. Just wondering what other people thought. And yes agree on too many stupid mistakes but so many of those questions were out to really test your detailed knowledge.
