CFAI gives us a sample exam to be taken online (120 min) and a mock exam in pdf format that we could print (just the item set). Is this all we get for free? Or am I missing something? Thank you. And I’m not including any past exams that are available.
2006 - 2008 AM sessions are available at the CFAI website.

I meant not counting the past exams. Is there anything else that’s “new” 2009 material from CFAI for free? Also, can anyone that’s purchase the additional 2 sample exams tell me if it’s worth the money? Thanks.

Then no, there is nothing else free. I purchased both of the other sample exams. If you’re not too bent over $80 I’d say get them. I thought the questions were more straight forward and simpler (some were too simple) than the mock, but it was good practice nevertheless. Plus there were a few tricky things I hadn’t see before.

I just finished the sample exam and I think the difficulty is way too easy and not really indicative of the real exam. But I would agree with you that the way they word some of the questions is somewhat different than Schweser.
It’s funny how the CFAI maintains that the mock AND sample “Reflect actual CFA exam question formats, topics, and level of difficulty” No way, at least for the samples. Glad you found it somewhat beneficial, tho.

Seriously. Some of the questions were a joke. Don’t get me wrong, there were difficult questions on there, but a lot of the questions seemed rudimentary and only require one step calculations. Whereas on the real exam, we’ll most likely have to compute 2 or 3 steps to calculate an answer.
