Nominal… its the least informative scale measure… since the data has no order… Long/Short market Neutral Positive Alpha etc etc… with scales, just remember a good glass of Pinot NOIR Nominal Ordinal Interval Ratio (in that order)

nominal. e.g. you could have groups of strategy 1, 2, 3, but the numbers wouldn’t mean anything in terms of qualitative information.
