Personally I feel that the schweser mocks get harder as you go. For instance exam 1 in volume 1 will be easier than exam 3 in volume 1. And furthermore volume 2 as a whole will be harder than volume one.
The he above is what I have experienced. Anyone else? I just finished exam 3 volume two morning and got 36/60 so I’m feeling…eh.
As I am going through this I am getting increasingly annoyed by the Schweser mock, should I even continue with this? I feel the questions are not worded well and extremely painful to work on…
I think so - I think if you can battle through these scoring mid-60’s then come game time you will be ready.
I am finishing on average about 15 min early but when I go back through and review the questions I get wrong there is always 1 or 2 at least that I miss because of a stupid error on my part. Its a concept that I know/formula I have down pact but use a different growth rate or something than was given in the vignette. So overall if I took my time to try and pick up these extra 1 or 2 questions I think I may be pushing it. That’s been my biggest hurdle the past few attempts.
Skipped mock 5 for now due to comments on this thread but did mock 6 over the last couple of days. Got a 77.5 score which is the opposite to the trend of this thread.
I’m so with you… I was in the 60s but the 1st mock of volume 2 nailed me at 56%… damn … not even sure if useful because of the long calculations on the FRA side… great for you batman but I’m so struggling now… i spend so much time reviewing and when it doesn’t get better i’d like to ditch it all…
btw did anyone do fitch too? they were way too easy i thought… i scored well over 70 on them
Seem to be much easier than CFAI topic tests (my average is 75% for Vol. 1 Schewer mocks and 66,7% for CFAI tests). 2. Test different topics and worded differently comparing to CFAI tests.
So I think I’m quitting doing Schweser as it gives me false sense of security.
