Hope the prep for the exam is in good shape. 15 days to go. I was wonderig how others are socring at this point on the Schweser practice exam book?
I took the first one a couple of days ago, thought it was easy, But to be honest I was stunned at how I could not recall some formula’s. ended up with a score of 68.
It will be helpful to compare scores and discuss level of difficulty I thought. I plan to take the 2011 practice exams from GARP today, would like to hear your thoughts and scores.
I didn’t go there yet, but soon enough will reply to you! Meanwhile, have you tried taking the practice questions at the end of the Financial Markets and Products book, the previous FRM actual exam questions, there are 34 actual questions from previous years. After a lot of hard studying, I scored 56%!!! Most of the questions were tricky ones. Did you take those? How did you do? I am not sure how to tackle the situation forward now. Cheers, ShadEs
For book 2, for the questions at the end of the book, I got 10 wrong, so about 70% score. I took practice exam test 2 from Schweser and scored 71, I think the difficulty level for practice exam 2 was same as the first one. I also took GARP’s practice exam 1 and 2 for 2011, I was disappoined to so many similar questions in the two exams. They only provide 50 questions in total and still repeat them, I wish GARP provided more variety. Also, in exam II there were formula’s I had not seen earlier in Schweser, so I am a bit more concerned.
