Schweser practice exams vs. actual

I’ve been scoring consistently well and increasingly better as I’ve been working through the Schweser practice exams, but a thought just occurred to me: am I actually learning the material, or am I just getting better at answering Schweser questions? (e.g. recognizing patterns, becoming a better guesser)

Does anyone else have this concern? Do we think the exam questions will be similar enough in structure that my skill in guessing correctly will be equally as helpful tomorrow?

**Obviously I am not asking anyone to tell me anything about the test that would violate ethics, just wondering if anyone else has the same worry and how you are thinking about it, or if I’m truly just losing my mind**

For what its worth, I noticed the official CFAI Practice Exam and the Schweser Pracitce Exam questions are somewhat different. Fortunately, the official practice seems to be a lot easier. If you haven’t already (and presuming their website is working), you may want to take a look before tomorrow.

It is actually good point of view and that is why I prefer CFA Institute books over others.

Think of Schweser practice tests as additional practice material, once you’re done with the CFAI subject tests and end of chapter questions.

In terms of difficulty from greatest to least I found the following --> CFAI Mock Exam = Topic Tests > Schweser Practice Tests > Actual Exam

Difficulty Wise: Topic Tests > CFAI Mock = Actual Exam > Schweser Practice Exams > Majority of CFAI EOCs > Schweser EOC Concept Checkers

Believe me Topic Tests > Schweser Practice Exams > CFAI Mock = Actual Exam > Majority of CFAI EOCs > Schweser EOC Concept Checkers
