Q14.4. Schweser says use of BTR reports is not ok because of lack of reasonable basis. I don’t really see a problem here. One should not always expect good recommendations from research reports. Having said that, I’d rather say there is still violation — on suitability. The reports only recommends on small cap stocks, which may not be covered by all clients of CA (unlike BTN). Thoughts?
