Schwesser Level 2 Reading 47 CC # 4 - possible error

A 38-year-old man with a wife and two children inherited $300,000. I’d put him in “average ability and willingness to take risk” since he still has his children’s expenses to think about. However, Schweser says he has an “above average ability and willingness to take risk” because he’s relatively young (at 38?) and enjoys risky activities such as skydiving.

This contradicts what this CFA Institute Publication has to say about skydiving, page 8, second paragraph (or just search for “skydiving”).

How are we supposed to correctly answer questions like this if there apparently is no general consensus on the correct answer?

Thanks
