Since I’m a momentum investor my current portfolio is… Long - mindless discussion about intraday trades. huge uptick in the last two quarters, I don’t know what it means but I’m buying. Short - intelligent discussions about global macroeconomic issues. the supply of economic problems is way too high to justify current pricing. (shoot me in the face)
Absolute short - fundamentals will continue to weaken, and an infrastructure stimulus won’t hit most income statements until the economy is recovering. Some of the industrials that are up 50% in the past couple weeks are absolute gimmes. 4Q is going to be one of the worst quarters on record, and 1Q-2Q will be similar.
