Should I continue?

I got them!

Good to know

Hey, if you guys are gonna cheat Finquiz out of revenue or do other sneaky stuff, you might want to NOT do that on the public forum. CFAI checks this regularly, and they can identify you. Then you’ll be part of a PCP investigation.

Don’t believe me? See this:

Thanks for telling but it isn’t through FinQuiz. Our tuition provider had collaborated with FinQuiz and provided those notes for free. We all had online accounts with our tuition provider to download them  but still I’ll edit my post!

@Greenman72

First of all I have read CFAI C&S. CFAI is very strict about disclosure of exam contents/questions and the thread u are mentioning is also related with that… and there isn’t any such violation by us…

and if you and someone might think we are cheating Finquiz then @ayesha18 has explained the situation.

although thanks for showing your concern and i admit that care must be taken on public forums…

but i must say i couldn’t stop smiling about the idea if someone thinks that a conspiracy is going on

ayesha u talking about arif irfnaullah ?

I didn’t read all the posts, but just by perusing them, it seemed like something fishy was going on. If not, then disregard.

Please email me. ID is info at cfainstitute.org

Thank you for your concern Greenman72. I appreciate it

Yes Vicky_cool400, I was talking about Arif Irfannullah.

Well I have purchased ARIFs 2013 l2 videos . I hope they are good enough

Oh let us know how you find them. Good luck

Well i find his videos quite good as he covers CFA curriculm and i find his teaching style very good except FRA

Raza and Ayesha - is the K instructor you talking about lahore-based? If he is the one then I heard great reviews about him. I have his audio lectures (not official though) and not liking it much. Same issue as you mentioned he just talks and talks and after 30 min I realise I haven’t learned a thing. I like Schweser better. But Stalla was the best! :frowning:

@ Ayesha & Raza: I studied from and worked with the same instructor! Conditions were pretty good back then, but I think the lack of support staff (heard that all associates have left) is taking its toll on quality! Have you guys talked to the instructor about your issues? Not sure what is going on there right now but he used to be very accommodating and listened to/addressed our issues in very considerate manner! You guys should state your grievances (even if not planning on joining him again, it may benefit others).

And don’t lose hope! I personally know guys who flunked level 1 but decided not to quit and went on to pass all three exams on subsequent attempts! It’s all a matter of perspective! If you want it badly, you’ll find a way to do it! If one approach didn’t work out for you, apply another! Stay in contact with other friends who have passed and exchange ideas about setting up study routine! For level 1 group study may be helpful (although I never did it myself)!

Hey dear,

you should go for it again as you have done preparation earlier , so you just need to take a revision & you should practice previous year sample papers also… now tell me if any cricketer say XYZ get out on 1st ball even he is a good player then what you will suggest ? he should play again or should leave playing ? …

its up to you…if you need it you should want it, if you will want it you will get it for sure…

GOOD LUCK

This means Irfnaullah classes are poor blush

They aren’t talking about him! Irfanullah’s review are pretty good!

Thankyou for your support shailjamehta

Ninja_economist; yes that’s why we joined him as he was very popular. And it turned out to be a total disaster. I am pretty sure the pass rates would have dropped significantly majorily because here students tend to rely a lot on their instructors and realise things when there isn’t sufficient time. There isn’t much to say when an instructor is skipping things you know. Over every other topic he would say we will focus on this in Level 2, for now just memorise. IMO this wasn’t a good approach. You can’t possibly pass any exam without understanding stuff. It was so good to hear that you know people who failed Level 1 but ended up passing subsequently in first attempts!

I have seen many friends from pakistan who were good but failed this dec exam

How was the passing rate in % for pakistani candidates

Was it lowest than the world average ?

I was really shocked that 1-2 pakistani friends failed

This Arif Irfanullah Guy. Hearing alot about him lately. Good and bad reviews but he cant be worse than Schweser, can he?
