I passed Level 1 with ecstasy in Dec 2009. Then my employer rejected my application to obtain study support for CFA Level 2 recently because it is not recognised in the Australian Education Framework. On top of this, I don’t find I have an extra edge when I looked for opportunity for advancement. I really doubt whether CFA is worth it in Australia? I am thinking of switching to do a Graduate Diploma in Economics. At least it will be recognised by Australian employers.
