Should Wall Street Journal be verified?

Is this a violation:Using statements from the Wall Street Journal’s report on Simpson without verifying them.

Sure, I believe one of the Schweser questions said a statement by the Fed Chief needed to be verified as well.

but i think data from S&P do not need to be verified, so i am confused…

Verified or cited?

is it a violation of not verified? is it a violation of not cited? thanks~

does anyone know about it…

This is what Schweser mentioned; ------------------- To avoid plagiarism, maintain records of all materials used to generate reports or other firm products and properly cite sources (quotes and summaries) in work products. Information from recognized financial and statistical reporting services need not be cited. ----------------- So it seems like S&P500 is a recognized financial and statistical reporting services which need not be cited

so wall street journal should be cited?
