Bumping this as I haven’t received any messages to my skype for invitations. The L1 group had over 20 people join. This L2 group is at 6 right now. We would certainly like to have a few more.
Perhaps all CFA candidates are ugly and self conscious so are a little camera shy? I’m never too keen to look in the mirror first thing in the morning anyway. Only joking guys!
Actually, the skype group doesn’t use cameras at all. I’m glad you mentioned that because if that was deterring anyone (it would deter me) then we just use skype as a group messenger. It function more like a chat room. I encourage more people to join. We have nearly 10 members now. It is okay if you haven’t started studying yet. We don’t have a schedule for study. Each studies that their own pace and we help each other with problems, motivations, etc. The skype group for L1 2010 was a great success, and many of the successful members have founded this L2 2011 group.
