So how was your Exam in General ?

results are released towards the end of January correct?

I gussed bunch of questions in FI and Q.

Yea end of Jan

Thanks andy!

Well, In the end, it is all about A,B, or C.

lol… yea, its all about A,B or C…

Already started with Level 2 material… Almost done with Quant.

Hoping for a favourable result come Jan 26 or so… I think I did pretty well on the exam, so am basing my judgement on that.

dude! chill…

I saw a couple of people who still had their phones with them in the exam hall. However, an announcement was made that if you still had them on you, to give it to a proctor. I’m sure that having your phone on you in the exam hall is worse than having a pen…

@ olajideanuoluwa001 when did you start?

Started reading the following day after the exam 6th…

Cant wait till Jan ending to start since I plan to take June immediately…

take it easy bro…

lol… you’re right, I am taking it easy…

lol you arent taking it easy man, otherwise you would have started level 2 in feb

Feb-May is just like 4 months, and with the volume of the material to cover, I dont think I will have sound grips of the material the way I would want to…

For me, the knowledge is as paramount as passing the exam, so the earlier I start, the better.

But I get your point, someone needs a little break to refresh the brain and re-energize.

In the end, its all gonna be worth it.

I finally had a good nights sleep after the exam…the first few nights I kept waking up and panicking over which questions I messed up on hahaha

I may start studying in January, but no earlier! I need to have a more balanced approach to studying and starting early definitely helps.

Btw I also wanted to start early for L2 but I studied just for 12 days before appearing in L1 which is why now I dont know whether I will make it to L2 this June or not. So, let’s see what happens.

@ olajideanuoluwa001 I am on board with you… I am going to start lvl 2 material this weekend. I think i passed but offcourse, I can’t be 100%. What I may think may not be the reality. But atleast get readings started. If i did not pass, then it’s not like I was studying hardcore in first place. Minor reading wouldn’t hurt.

Congrats! It is a brave tactics but you know very well what result can you expect. I planned do so, but I changed my mind just to avoid hard landing.

Are Quants for L2 easier to learn after mastering the Quants material for the L1?

I thought the fixed income section and the economics section were hard, particularly the PM session.

Did people feel the same way? Hoping to keep my sanity for the next two months lol

Did you already sign up and pay for Level 2? I really need a break for a week or so but during my downtime I might be interested in starting to begin some of the readings for L2 as I feel pretty good about the level 1 test last weekend.

Seems really risky to pay for level 2 and then find out you don’t pass in 2 months to me though…
