So how was your Exam in General ?

very good…I believe if you get 100% accuracy on 60% you are sure

i don’t know if this is permitted, but did you guys also had straight Bs on the latter part? my question is irrespective of the session to be less specific.

Where did you get that figure from?

Yea i remember getting a few questions with straight B’s

47k last year is from CFA website

30-40% not attending I read somewhere on Web.Also I could see in exam hall, half the seats were unoccupied

Where did you take your test? I was also told that approximately 20% of candidates do not show up to its CFA exams; but when I took the 2015 December exam in Atlanta, most of the seats were occupied. I was quite surprised.

New York

Never understood why you wouldn’t turn up. You may end up getting lucky, and at worst it’s good practice for next time.

The guy that sat next to me didn’t even show up for the second half, of course I could see he was basically having a nervous breakdown mid test in my peripheral, but still at least show up and bubble some stuff in.

My sentiment of the exam pretty much is the same as others with the morning being easier than the afternoon. The morning I felt like I knew, or had a good idea, on every question. I probably did close to 6000 practice questions over the last 6 months and averaged between a 66-73. I joked “well if they just ask questions from the 4,000 I got right I’ll get a 100%” and I felt like that happened in the morning almost haha. The afternoon was more like the mocks as far as how I felt while taking it. I always seemed to do better on the morning section when I was taking mocks too. I felt like conceptually I was solid, but there’s so many little things and subtleties to remember that its hard to feel confident about it.

Safe to say that Jan 26th will be our day of reckoning based on the time between the test date and the day the were results reported from the December 13 and 14 tests. Absolute torture until then. Good luck to all!

Any update on when results will be out

Week 8

After eight weeks, Level I exam results are released by email and available on the CFA Institute website.

https://www.cfainstitute.org

56 days from December 4th is 29.01.2016. or week in range 25.-29.01.2016.

silly question, but what if i mis-shaded my candidate number? it just occured to me that they start with zeros like:

0

1

2

and so on. on the off-chance that i shaded 0 instead of 1, did i mess up the whole exam?

30 days heading towards the results and these random questions pop up.

don’t worry

What if I put wrong ID number? What if I did not sign? What if the proctor thought that I was maintaining telepathic contact with Mars? If I did not flush the toilet? This results hold period makes us paranoid … maybe it’s just a part of the training. wink

What I am worried about is that the other proctor might think that I cheated because I stared at the board in our area far longer than normal trying to remember something and when I looked at the other board, I saw the proctor assigned in that area staring at me.

I am waiting in vain for the result. If I passed, I will take Level 2 right away. I am in a hurry to pass all 3 exams. How about you? Will you take Level 2 this June 2016?

Perhaps no. I want to take Level 2 this June, but I don’t think I can pull it off with 4 months worth of study (if i start reading after receiving good/pass Level 1 results, hopefully). Everyone’s been telling me that Level 2 requires twice the effort as well. Too bad there’s no December exams for Level 2.

I got an email this morning from CFAI stating that results will be out on 1/26/16 @ 9:00 AM ET

just got a mail from CFAI that the result will be released on 26th Jan at 09:00 AM ET.

Got the mail too.
