so how'd it go?

No I mean one question of the AM session. Nothing difficult APPARENTLY.

Spend 15 minutes on it, reread everything and couldn’t come with a right answer. Seriously thought that the CFAI screw the question but then it’s probably me who screw it up.

PM was harder.

The term calculus is worrying me. As far as I am concerned I never encountered any calculus in the exam or the revision

Yeah sorry it’s probably bad english from me. What I mean by “calculus” only means the need to use a calculator. How do you say that?

I’m with you. I recall I did not have to do any calculation for the #120 frown

@Mr.Smart: if you were referring to the question that you had discussed earlier (It was deleted already), it was #117 or #118 for me.

Okay, for # 120 I ran out of time so I had to guess, but I had seen relatively similar based questions in the material (both Schweser & CFA). It looked quite straightforward from that perspective though need a while to get head around the question, which sadly I did not have

What are these bands everyone is talking about? How d othey work?

Yes, it was the question that got deleted earlier

It wasn’t difficult either, they could have made it much more complicated, yet the answer just didn’t exit on the question sheet. I was pretty sure I knew how it was done, can’t wrap my head around where it went wrong.

If I had to bet, I’d say it’s probably me, and not them.

Same, i remember that Q vividly, If you knew the concept then you knew what to pick.

Having said all that, pals I just estimated my score and its between 65-68% :frowning: I can only hope that I passed ethics.

I believe #120 for derivatives also did not require any calculation. It was theoretical by nature. If you knew the theory behind it, the answer would jump out right infront of you with no calculation required.

Then I am sure our questions are shuffled. 120 in no way can be solved theoretically only.

Maybe there were different exam versions.

I think there are different versions per region. Question 120 in North America was pretty straighforward and required a calculation in Derivatives

Our Question 120 that required a calculator may have been question 60 to them.

Depends which session you sat for I guess. It was the last question in a derivatives vignette that needed a calculator.

Take it easy guys

Did CFAI offcially anounce that candidates can freely discuss exam contents at certain point?

Yeah… I am really worried for some of these people.

Calm down this is not a violation according to the Code and Standards

returning level II candidate… thought the afternoon was much harder than the morning…

could have gone 75-85 on the am and anywhere from 55-65 in the pm

I band 10 failed last year with a fail in ethics… feel like same result is coming
