I have just 2 theories: 1)Perhaps the pilots were on suicidal mission and crashed Plane in the sea and it went 50,000 feet deep in the ocean…and may never be found…Even bodies will never float and come above as they will be locked inside the Aeroplane …Only this theory of Pilot deliberately taking Aeroplane inside the Ocean and rest no other theory comes even closer. 2)I am very sorry for this theory of mine. All Terrorists are Muslims but not all Muslims are terrorist. Both pilots were muslims. A conspiracy by taliban hooligans for SURE. . There is every possibility that plane is in taliban controlled area of Pakistan and Afganistan.(Remember:Osama was found in Pakistan afters years of search by USA and other countries)
Depths of 50,000ft would definitely be difficult to search. I agree with rahul’s theory… he may be onto something. Do you think the aeroplane is in one piece? It has to be or else the bodies would float right?
But they flew out of Malaysia already from the last signal, so the plane was in another air-space. these are all regulated and the respective towers would have record of the plane passing through.
I’m having trouble figuring out what you are saying, but seems like you are saying that the aircraft left Malaysia airspace and that is why the Malaysians stopped tracking it? Latest info is that MH 370 turned west, flew back over Malaysia, and then continued west. In doing so, it passed over three Malaysian radar installations and within 200 miles of an air force base armed with F-18 fighters. The Malaysian military detected the plane on radar, but did not scramble jets. Furthermore, it took them days to announce that they had identified MH 370 - whether this delay was deliberate is unclear. The Malaysian authorities did not search the houses of MH 370’s crew for almost a week, even though pilot action is the most likely explanation for the airplane’s change in course. It is clear that the Malaysian authorities failed multiple times in handling this situation.
As someone who did a lot of water skiing and knee boarding in his youth, I can personally attest to the fact that hitting water at “high” speeds is not a gentle experience. The Indian Ocean is also only 25,000 feet deep at its deepest, but 25k or 50k really doesn’t make a difference since there are only a few subs in the world that can even go to 25k.
Seems like my support for rahul has been taken a bit too seriously by my fellow AFers FYI Mariana Trench - the deepest known spot to man is 36,000 ft deep. I figured my reiterating the 50,000ft depth point and actually entertaining the plane in one piece assumption were big enough clues??? Regardless, it seems like the media is running with the sailors in Maldives seeing a low flying plane theory. If that is to be believed and the plane did not land on any of the Maldives islands then the crash site should not be far off. The plane was probably very low on fuel by then with the next island chain 1300miles away and Somalia being 2000miles away. I know for a fact that US military bases and aircraft carriers do threaten to shoot down planes that come within their “safe zone” and since the latest theory is that the plane was flying at 1000 ft altitude it would certainly breach that safe zone. [US military has a base at Diego Garcia which is along the path to Maldives from Malaysia) However; US typically sends fighter jets to get a visual on the target before making such decisions. What are the odds that they did send fighter jets to intercept the plane, the pilots refused to divert or respond and hence decided to shoot it down?
I took 50k feet as a hypothetical figure. It may be 25k feet down under or what ever…but my point is that aeroplanes can go deep down under the sea for what ever reasons …i hope there is no new Bermuda triangle in Indian Ocean.
