So where did the plane go?

Have they searched North Korea yet?

Making friends with volleyballs.

If this accident had nothing to do with a terrorist activity as currently the media suggests, then that guy in Malaysia who both the tickets for the Irani illegal immigrants must be feeling very unfortunate. Running a nice lil’ racket trafficking illegal immigrants, selling stolen tourist passports and getting plane tickets for customers… sure, breaking the law but handling mostly paperwork and all that. Suddenly he’s got the FBI counter-terrorism unit working with Malaysian and Chinese police and investigators, and his Irani customers photos all over the media. Probably woke up the night after the plane disappeared, checked the news and was like AW SHIT

I wonder how many people board planes with stolen passports everyday. We are talking about it because a plane is missing but that must happen more often than we think.

No, but might be worth while to search Crimea for a good measure

If passenger cell phones were ringing but no pickup, that would suggest they are intact, and can’t be disentigrated or drowned in water. hijacking? maybe someone wanted to hijack the plane itself… that boeing jet isn’t cheap

^If they were working, why wouldn’t someone send a text or call out?

Well, the obvious but unfortunate answer is that all the people are dead, like through explosive decompression, but the phones survived. Or maybe the plane was hijacked and landed somewhere, meaning that the phones are intact, but the passengers are imprisoned or incapacitated. This is unlikely but who knows.

The ringing doesn’t mean the phones are on or even exist anymore. It could just be the call trying to connect.

Still no explanation for this.

I’m thinking cover-up. Malaysian authorities blew the plane out the sky accidentaly and are trying to cover their ass, poorly.

Well, now it’s reported that Malaysia has asked India to step up search efforts so the net is definitely widening. Perhaps that’s part of a cover up to distract resources away from the likely location in the event of a military accident.

This was a night time flight though, so I doubt any military would be conducting live fire exercises in total darkness over a routine flight path. But I could be wrong. It’s certainly possible and potential as likely as any other cause for this.

And those backing the idea that someone stole this plane… you can’t just land a 777 anywhere. This is a huge aircraft with signficant runway requirements. You can’t just land this on a dirt strip in a jungle or something.

We seem to have an answer

It’s a cover-up for sure and it’s involving more countries and places than one.

First of all, from original reports, every country is denying knowing anything about the plane or detecting anything wrong until the news broke out.

But when you think about it, the plane was crossing so many airspace, you need to get clearance from towers in different locations/ countries for sure, say the original path was from Malaysia to Vietnam and then crossing over to Hong Kong then up north to China. Vietnam must have known the plane was entering their airspace, and Hong Kong and China… how come nobody announced it when the plane that they are expecting to see in their radar didn’t show up?

If they detected the plane was missing, the airline should’ve known right away to show that plane as delayed, or possibly annouce it to the public already. And the crew members/ families could have tried to reach or locate people on the plane via phone - which is not impossible.

It’s not just Malaysia’s covering it up or the airline all along… It’s definitely involving multiple countries. i am waiting to see some people who work at one of the Towers to speak out.

And to your article, it’s not been confirmed, so i dont want to comment on it.

Why do people care about this? I just don’t get it

Isn’t it always assumed to be a cover up until the facts become known?

I read somewhere that the Maylasian Air Force didn’t not positively identify the plane travelling to the west. My guess is that it didn’t go off course as most people believe. It crashed somewhere along its path for as yet unknown reasons.

It’s a mystery. Who doesn’t like a good mystery to solve. We can all be airchair transportation safety investigators for a few days.

We also care because it is a large jet carrying a lot of people. Any one of us could have been aboard that plane relaxing in our seats when all of a sudden we are confronted with mortal fear.

+1

I get all that, but after the first ten minutes I loose interest in it. I guess I’d rather be following other events that are happening on the global stage.

maybe there was someone on that flight a govt. wanted to “go away”
