If someone is employed at an asset management and is planning on starting a new asset management firm, are they allowed to solicit clients (obviously assuming they are not soliciting existing clients and prospects of their current employer)? The answer on Mock 1 indicated that this was not allowed…seems to me that this question was not worded very well…what does everyone think?
Never mind - I got tricked by the “can he solicit clients immediately after interviewing” portion of the question…
