spacing here.. total return - unrealized gain

think i’ve been doing too many qbank questions today… when we calculate total return for our portfolio, do we calculate the unrealized gains for held to maturity securities as well?

for total market return yes for accounting return no I hope

For economics return, yes. total return= economic income/sth sth? For accounting return, no
