Spot the violation

“To become a CFA” shouldn’t use CFA as a noun. This whole article is a violation. Quiz: Is it our ethical responsibility to now advise BizWeek now?

That rule is a true stupid rule, in my opinion. It might be because I’m not a native-English speaker, however, referring to a noun (Chartered Financial Analyst) as if it is not a noun but an adjective, is very stupid. I’m open to listening to the rationale for that, can you help me?
