stages of business cycle

I don’t have my books @ work but are there 2 stages? expansion, peak, contraction, recovery, growth and recession, recovery, early expansion, late expansion, slowing entering recission? I know that the first one is used in econ and the 2nd in the equity concepts section just want to verify
